Parts Specifications and Warranty

At Car Parts Go, we place great importance on providing high-quality automotive components while ensuring transparency and clarity in our warranty policy and product descriptions. Please take a moment to review our comprehensive warranty policy and product-specific details.

Please note that seals, gaskets, and other wear items are explicitly excluded from our warranty coverage. 

All units are sold empty of fluids and Filters.

Returns and Refunds Policy

  • Axle Shaft:

    • Sold without bearings and bushings.
    • Not under warranty if included.
  • Axle Assembly:

    • Sold from hub to hub.
    • No guarantee on bushing, bearings, and sensors.
    • No warranty on backing plates (sold separately).
    • Whole unit replacement for gear shifting or only.
  • Axle Beam:

    • Sold with specified measurements.
  • Differential:

    • Sold with the exact gear ratio.
  • Drive Shaft:

    • Sold according to weld-to-weld measurement.
    • No warranty on U-joint, Slip yoke, or center bearing.
  • Transfer Case:

    • Sold as a complete unit.
    • No warranty on U-joints or rubber joints.
    • Some cases include sensors, not covered.

Our warranty covers the long block of an engine assembly, excluding components such as manifolds, fuel injection, carburetor, hoses, timing belts and covers, gaskets, seals, and oil pans. Accessories like turbos, starters, air compressors, alternators, power steering pumps, optical distributors, electrical water pumps, water pump, distributor cap, spark plugs and wires, and timing chains are not covered due to their high-wear nature.

  • Air Cleaner Box/Housing:

    • Sold as the housing only.
    • No warranty for the hose tubs or Mass Air Flow Sensor.
  • Short Blocks:

    • Sold as rebuildable units only.
  • Cylinder Head:

    • May require machining.
    • Warranty for cracks or warping.
  • A/C Compressor:

    • Compressor and clutch sold together.
    • Clutch not covered under warranty.
  • Exhaust Manifold:

    • Full engine assemblies include manifolds.
    • Only long block covered by warranty.
    • Accessories not covered unless bought separately.
  • Fuel Pump:

    • Sold as a whole unit.
  • Ignition Switch:

    • Sold without the wiring harness and key.
  • Oil Pan:

    • Sold according to customer specifications for the correct oil pan.
  • Radiator or Condenser

    • Fan assembly sold separately.
  • Radiator Fan:

    • Motor not under warranty if defective.
  • Antenna:

    • Sold as a unit.
    • Mounting not covered under warranty.
  • Headlights:

    • Sold without bulbs.
    • Damage to the brackets is not under warranty.
  • Side View Mirror:

    • Sold as per customer’s specification.
    • No guarantee of color match.
    • Paint to match the car’s shade is recommended.
  • Doors:

    • Sold as a shell only, with panel, regulator, and railings sold separately.
    • Special requests for high-end vehicles may be accommodated, but interior matching is not guaranteed.
    • Side view mirrors are sold separately, and we warranty only the Door Shell, not accessories.
  • Quarter Panels:

    • Requires an exact cut sheet measurement.
    • The customer must confirm the cutting details for us to ship the unit.
  • Header Panel:

    • Sold as a bare header panel.
    • Lights, fog lamps, and turn signals are not included.
    • Complete header panels are available at an additional cost.
  • Grille:

    • Sold based on the car, with no emblem guaranteed.
  • Turn Signal:

    • Sold with or without the bulb.
    • Chrome trim is not included.
  • Window Switch:

    • Sold as a whole unit.
    • Specific door may apply.
  • Rear View Mirror:

    • Basic mirrors only.
  • Instrument Cluster:

    • Sold based on car specifications.
    • No warranty on recorded miles.
    • Some vehicles may require reprogramming.
  • Header Control:

    • Sold as per customer’s specification.
    • No returns for unmarked buttons unless defective.
  • Modules:

    • Computers or modules are confirmed to have the correct part number.
    • Electrical items have a one-time replacement warranty only.
    • Modules may need reprogramming by a dealer or ASC-certified mechanic in case of defects.
    • A print copy is required to validate defects; otherwise, a 25% Restocking fee and one-way shipping at the customer’s expense apply.
  • Electrical Parts:

    • Sold without the wiring harness.
  • ABS:

    • Mostly sold as assemblies.
    • Some parts sold separately (Pump, module, master cylinder, and Booster).
  • Steering Rack and Pinion:

    • Sold as per customer’s specification.
    • No warranty on tie rods.
  • Steering Column:

    • Sold without Airbag
    • Sold as a unit with the column switch and key.
    • No warranty on the steering wheel or intermediate shaft.
  • Steering Knuckle:

    • May have surface rust.
    • Wheel bearing not covered.
  • Stabilizer Bar:

    • Sold with correct measurements.
    • Must match specifications.
    • Bushings not guaranteed 
    •  
  • Strut:

    • Sold as is with the spring.
    • Bearings and Bushings not guaranteed. 
  • Wheel:

    • Sold based on specifications.
    • No wheel cover or cap provided.
    • Wheels may have rust based on the vehicle’s age.
    • Guaranteed not to be bend and will hold air and balance.

We guarantee proper shifting, excellent gear condition, and good bearings. To maintain warranty eligibility, certain maintenance steps must be followed before installation, including cleaning all gearbox components, changing oil and filters, replacing seals and gaskets, testing the cooler and lines, and fully engaging the torque converter in automatic transmissions. Manual transmissions require clutch, pressure plate, and slave cylinder replacement, as well as flywheel rotation, and fluid level testing.

To ensure a seamless return and refund process at Car Parts Go, we uphold specific guidelines:

Return Policy

  • Original Components Only: We accept returns exclusively for original components with their unique markings. Items that have been altered or disassembled for testing are ineligible for return.
  • Documenting Concerns: All concerns or issues with a specific item or installation must be formally documented in writing through mail, email, or fax.
  • Wait for RMA: Please refrain from returning any item until you’ve received a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from us.
  • 10-Day RMA Window: Items must be returned within 10 days of receiving the RMA.
  • Return in Original Condition: Unless damaged during shipping and confirmed by a Car Parts Go employee, items must be returned in their original condition.
  • Customer Responsibility for Return Costs: Customers are responsible for covering the costs associated with returning items unless otherwise specified.

Refund, Credit Request, and Customer Reimbursements

  • Refunds or Replacements: After inspecting the returned item, we offer a full refund for the original purchase price or, if applicable, send a replacement component.
  • Customer Reimbursements: Once the returned part is confirmed and assessed, customer reimbursements are promptly processed to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
